What Sink Replacement Covers
Scope is small but everything has to be done correctly. We disconnect water and waste, remove the old tub (and stand if applicable), modify cabinetry if the new sink has a different cut-out, install the new sink (drop-in or undermount), connect the new tap with isolators, run silicone or tape seals as required, and pressure-test for leaks. Total: 4–8 hours on site for most jobs.
If you want a deeper bowl or different position, we may need to modify benchtop cut-outs or relocate plumbing — discussed at quote stage.

Four sink configurations to choose from. The right one depends on bench depth, cabinet width, and what you actually use the sink for.
Single bowl, drop-in (most common)
Best for: standard 600mm cabinets; bench-mounted tap; replacing an existing single bowl.
Capacity: typically 45–70L bowl. Suits clothes soaking and general household use.
Typical cost (sink + install): $400–$900.
Dual bowl (single-and-a-half or double)
Best for: 800mm+ cabinets; households with regular dirty-soaking and clean-rinse needs (gardeners, mechanics, sport families).
Capacity: 30L + 60L (single-and-a-half) or 45L + 45L (double).

Undermount (under-bench)
Best for: stone or solid-surface benchtops; clean modern aesthetic; easy to wipe debris from bench into sink.

Two Perth-specific considerations:

- Tap and tap-cock standards. WA plumbing requires licensed installers and WaterMark-certified fittings. We only fit certified taps and provide the compliance certificate at handover.
Sink Replacement With a Project Manager vs. a Plumber
A plumber disconnects, fits the new sink, and reconnects. They don’t modify the benchtop cut-out if the new sink is a different size, repair the cabinet under the old tub if it’s water-damaged, or coordinate with a benchtop fabricator if you’re also swapping the bench.
We handle the small extras. If the cut-out needs modifying, the carpenter’s there. If the cabinet’s water-damaged, we rectify before the new sink goes in. If you’re upgrading the benchtop too, the plumbing and benchtop are sequenced as one job — not two separate visits.
